Bringing RECEPTOR
performance to a new price point
Muse Research is well known amongst touring and studio professionals, with
their RECEPTOR 2+ Pro product line being used by some of the world's biggest
bands, most elaborate stage productions, as well as on numerous TV shows and
films. With its rock-solid performance, minimal latency, and flexible
programming interface, the RECEPTOR 2+ Pro and Pro MAX models remain the
standard of the industry for mission-critical applications. Now, the Pro
models are joined by a more-affordable little brother in the RECEPTOR VIP,
joining the Peavey MuseBox to make high-performance virtual instruments and
effects available to all musicians across a wide-range of price points.
A Dream Come True for
Performing Musicians...
The RECEPTOR VIP is a dream come true by making the power of RECEPTOR not only
more affordable, but also much easier to use, thanks to the new front panel
hardware interface, and an entirely new "rack-style" graphical user interface.
These two interfaces work together to make it a breeze to select sounds using
the exclusive SoundFinder feature, as well as programming your own unique
presets from scratch.
The RECEPTOR VIP is perfect for
the performing musician who wants to utilize cutting-
edge virtual instruments like Native Instrument Komplete 8, Synthogy Ivory 2,
IK Total Workstation, and hundreds of others. The RECEPTOR VIP makes these
virtual instruments perform their best thanks to the RECEPTOR VIP's custom OS
and application software that lets the 3GHz dual-core processor focus all its
attention on running the virtual instruments with maximum stability and
minimum latency.
Perfect for solo
performers
Guitarist and singers will love the fact that RECEPTOR VIP has front panel
combi-jacks with XLR and 1/4-inch inputs for microphones and guitars. In fact,
for many musicians, RECEPTOR VIP is all they'll need to sound their best since
the vast assortment of virtual instruments and effects that are built in. You
can play keyboards and process vocals at the same time as well thanks to the
flexible architecture of the system.
The bundled software includes
over 4GB of pristine sampled sounds in the MusePlayer sample player, powered
by the UVI engine. Additionally, synthesizers from Applied Acoustics, Camel
Audio, U-he, ForeFront, and more round out the diverse sound palette, and
that's just the beginning.
That's because every RECEPTOR VIP
comes with Komplete 8 pre-installed in demo mode, ready to activate with a
license code, opening up an immense range of sounds and musical possibilities.
RECEPTOR VIP is also available with Komplete 8 pre-authorized and ready to
make music, right out of the box.
On the effects front you get
ReValver HP guitar amp modeling, along with WaveArts MasterVerb 4 reverb and
TrackPlug 4 channel strip processing, Camel Phat and Camel Space delay /
filter effects, and many more, making it arguably the most versatile effects
processor available... and that's just with the software that is included with
your purchase. In fact, the retail value of the software bundled with RECEPTOR
VIP is over $900, making it a superior value.
"The RECEPTOR VIP is perfect
